This wide range viscometer can be used for continuous measurement of the viscosity in the range of 102 to 1012 poise by a combination of indentation, parallel plate, plate rotation methods. This apparatus may replace the several apparatus such as penetration, fiber elongation, falling sphere, and rotating crucible methods, each of which has a proper measurable viscosity ranges.
